Laurren Iacobellis

Founder, Registered Clinical Counsellor

I love helping people through trauma, depression, burnout, chronic illness and chronic pain. As an attachment therapist, I model vulnerability, helping you to use self-compassion and the relationship we build as a template for living a healthy life with others, and with ourselves. This is the magic of therapy.

My professional designation is Registered Clinical Counsellor, but before completing a Master of Counselling Psychology at City University of Seattle, I also studied Theatre Theory and Dramaturgy at the University of Ottawa and a Bachelor of Arts, English Literature, Minor Drama from the University of British Columbia. I spent the first half of my career stewarding artists, fundraising, teaching English, and volunteer coordinating (can you tell I have ADHD?!). The journey led me deeper into to my passion - people! My unique training in school and life has strengthened my skill at tuning into emotions and supporting you through big and hard feelings.

I love therapy. I am not afraid of the dark parts of being human; our darkest moments are usually the gateway to transformation. It is my passion and privilege to journey with you as you encounter your true self and build your best life.

Laurren Iacobellis is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (#19389) with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC).
